Volunteers engaged to foster disaster response

126 volunteers from Red Cross at District level are set to undergo Disaster Management trainings in order to enhance and decentralize capacity in response during Disasters.  The training organized by the Ministry of Disaster management and Refugee affairs (MIDIMAR) since May 15 to 27, 2013 will be delivered to Rwanda red Cross volunteers from eight District namely: Karongi, Ngororero, Rulindo, Gakeneke, Nyarugenge , Gicumbi, Gasabo and Kicukiro.

Party in the family as relatives return

“Thanks to the Lord for having allowed me return in my mother country after several years in exile. I vowed to give an offering the first time I enter in the church,” Declared UWIHOREYE Consolate as she stepped on Rwanda soil at Rwanda-Burundi border at Akanyaru.
