MIDIMAR is the leading institution in terms of policy formulation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation  of  Disaster  risk reduction and Disaster Management  activities.
 It is also deeply involved in a process of supervising  humanitarian assistance  in   emergency situations and   mobilization of  various stakeholders  in order  to  promote disaster risk reduction awareness culture.
 
MISSION

To attain a high level of Safety of Rwandan  communities through Disaster Risk Reduction and Disaster Management for  promotion of  the wellbeing of Rwandan Community.

VISION
 
To attain a highly proficient disaster risk Reduction and  Disaster Management   organization capable of intervening in case the Disaster occurs within and outside Rwanda.
