It was MIDIMAR second day of commemoration of 19 years after the Genocide committed against Tutsi. The gathering was a panel of highly intellectual reflections centered on issues of justice, women and security’ place in remembering in due form the 1994 Genocide committed against Tutsi.

MIDIMAR remembers as family over a million killed during the genocide against Tutsi in April 1994In her opening word of circumstance, Honorable Seraphine MUKANTABANA, reminded that the awful circumstances that led to a conviction that Tutsi were for nothing better than killing is not only worth of remembering because it is a sine qua nun condition for Rwandans to hope for a complete recovery. She observed also that this a subject that our sight can never lose if we want to build up systems that can sustainably prevent such appalling events in our society's history. |
