Family of ex-FDLR commander back home

Marie Louise Muhonganseko and her four children, two girls and two boys, arrived in Nyabugogo national bus terminal, from Lusaka Zambia on Saturday April 1, 2012. The family had spent three years in Lusaka after living in Congo Brazzaville for fifteen years.

Storm Victims Appreciate Rapid Assistance

 

Residents in Rwamagana and Kayonza districts who were affected by a heavy storm in the Eastern Province were content at receiving rapid assistance from the Ministry of Disaster Management and Refugee Affairs MIDIMAR. They were assisted within one week of the incident that destroyed their houses and damaged their properties. MIDIMAR provided 3257 iron sheets to victims in both districts.
